Go to bed covering your whole body, including your face, usually works for me :)

You’ve gotten a lot of really good replies on this. Not much more than I can add, but I will add one thing I don’t see on here. Emergen-C (powder added to water) seems to do the trick to boost me out of a cold.

Take sudafed an hour before your flight if your head feels even slightly stuffy to avoid barotrauma. Barotrauma is easy to get if you fly while sick and it is HORRIBLE; after 4 months my left ear still isn’t 100%. :/

My secret remedy for getting rid of a cold is lots of nasal spray (just saline). Lots of vitamin C, spicy soup, and a combo of 1 dayquil + 12 hour sudaphed.

Naked Juice (pumped up with Vitamin C) and some vitamin C tabs. Lots of water. Hot vapors… Then Vicks on the bottom of your feet then covered with socks. Works every time.

take a decongestant (if your chest is heavy), an anti-inflammatory, and lots of water (with fresh lemon if you can handle that). This is my tried and true cure to better days (even if it might only shorten a (5-day) cold by a day or two). cheers!

Lots of food and lots of hot drinks. Plus, more sleep that you really need always seems to do the trick for me. Whenever I’m sick, I eat constantly.
