Return of Grizzly Girl

Hi all. I am back safely in Montreal after my secluded week of grizzly shooting in the Chilcotin mountains in beautiful BC–a stunning part of our country. The trip was great-I took over 8,000 shots.  So far I have trashed half, so quite a ways to go with editing. Our slowest outing on the river we tracked 14 bears. The busiest, 26! That is a lot of grizzly. Lots of Moms with cubs.

So hope you are all okay with some “grizzly dash.” I will also pop up some posts for photog friends about the challenges of shooting from a fly fishing boat that never stops moving, on a river that has constant (and sometimes bizarre) lighting challenges. Stay tuned…
