Snorkeling in the Bocas Del Toro archipelago. Man, the colours were insane!
I witnessed my first sockeye salmon spawning last week up in Pemberton, BC. Hopefully by the time you are seeing this I will be watching grizzlies scoop these guys up for dinner!
Fishin’ (give them a clcik-the fishie is small!)
I was startled yesterday when a great blue heron lifted straight up out of the tall reeds next to me and flew off with his dinner. I was able to swing the camera down fast enough to get off one shot, and this was it. Pretty lucky to capture the enormous wingspan of this sensational bird with his considerable fresh catch of the day. (As always, click for larger image.)
