This Day in History: June 13, 2010. I was in the Masai Mara in Kenya and it was very late in the day. We came upon a den of hyena and the pups were very curious about us, a couple of them wandering quite close to the truck to take a whiff. (After the day in the sun, heat and dust I am sure they got a nose-full from me…)
