Macro Monday: Secret Passage

I spotted this beetle on the outside of a flower. He had just finished eating a nice sized hole he could climb through for lunch. It was insane trying to capture him looking through the hole and then as he climbed into the flower. The wind was blowing and I was hand-holding with a 100m macro, which can be a nightmare to focus–especially when everything is moving. But all in all I think it captures a pretty compelling little bug adventure. (Click for full-size…)
