BTW, completely fell off the rocks and onto my ass in the river in order to get this ethereal shot. Just sayin’. (Lens and camera were extended out of the water which made the landing even harder…)
Head in the clouds.
I found this rock “face” in the sand on a battered beach between fallen buildings in Casco Veijo Panama. It was ‘staring’ right up at me. I uncovered it and set it up for a portrait shot. I wish I could have brought it home but it weighed quite a bit more than a sea shell.
Since the Tree Hyrax post garnered so much love, I thought I would post his cousin, the Rock Hyrax. Rock hyraxes, the only living species in the genus procavia, is the more social of the two species. It is non-burrowing critter and lives in y large families groups within the crevices of rock and rocky ledges, unlike the solitary lifestyle of his relative the Tree Hyrax. Equally cute however!
