In honor of Halloween…the deadliest insect arachnid I have ever photographed-or seen,for that matter. The Brazilian Wandering Spider, shot here in Costa Rica, is considered to be the most poisonous arachnid on the planet. I shot him at night, in the company of “The Bug Lady”, a brilliant and fabulously entertaining specialist that gave night tours in the rainforest, where it is Halloween every night!

Why is it when we unknowingly walk into a spiderweb we turn into a ninja? (Anonymous source…and fellow ninja)

I snapped this just as he fired web out of his “webshooter.” Kind of reminded me of some folks I know who like to talk out of their ass…  Would love to know what kind of spider he is…
